We like to eat out.
Several things we don't like? Band-aids in our soup, hair on our burgers, or cockroaches in our creme brulee.
Government-regulated restaurant health inspection scores provide that type of background info to the dining public, but dang if it's easy to access - horribly fragmented across states, cities, and counties nationwide - each with its own scoring metric and grading system.
That's where we come in.
The idea, and goal, of our site is pretty simple: centralize all the restaurant health inspection score information cataloged around the United States, and provide an easy means online to research the data.
And over the past several months, that's exactly what we've been doing.
We're currently in alpha testing, and providing score data across the Southeast. Our goal is to capture all all 50 U.S. states, though, and develop a system to actively update scores throughout the year (as follow-up inspections are occuring each and every day)
Information supplied on the site is raw restaurant health inspection score data pulled directly from each city, state, county, or municipality within the United States. The provided data has not been altered in any way, and is updated on our site every 3 to 6 months.
We love our little site here, though, and hope you do too.
If you like what we're doing, spread the word! And don't forget to bookmark us, or better yet, make us your homepage!
Happy eating!
